Zara Larsson & MNEK – Never Forget You
If you haven’t heard this yet, you soon will. Co-written with UK song-writer/producer Astronomyy, it features the powerful vocals of both Swedish pop-star Zara Larsson and the hit-making prodigy that is MNEK. It’s a big modern-day romantic ballad that will no doubt be a radio favourite for some time.
Lapsley – Hurt Me
I’ve been following Lapsley for a while now and am eagerly anticipating her debut album. From her latest EP of the same name, ‘Hurt Me’ sees the Liverpudlian artist playing around with more synths and an altogether bigger sound.
Liss – Always
Once again, Liss are back on the list with their second debut-single, and it’s just as good, if not better, than their first. Could ‘Scandi-smooth’ be a new genre? Lets hope so!
Eric Prydz – Opus (Four Tet Remix)
One of the most emotive dance records I’ve heard in a long time, courtesy of house legend Eric Prydz and Four Tet. Just wait, and wait, and wait for the drop.
KDA, Katy B & Tinie Tempah – Turn the Music Louder (Rumble)
KDA’s ‘Rumble’ was already a big summer anthem, but Katy B & Tinie Tempah’s re-working has just turned it up a gear. It also marks the welcome return of Katy B, who is rumoured to be about to release new material, exciting times!
Jamie Woon – Sharpness
If you’re having a bad week or are just feeling a bit meh, Jamie Woon can only make you feel better. This little delight is the first single from his new album, ‘Making Time’. And, talking about making time, if you can, definitely watch the this recent live recording of the song – pure vibes.
